On 16th June 2010, the Conservative Middle East Council held its 30th Anniversary Gala Dinner with The Rt Hon Sir John Major KG CH as guest of honour. The dinner was held at Claridge’s in Mayfair, which was also the setting for CMEC’s launch 30 years ago, under its founding Chairman, Sir Dennis Walters MBE.
