27th November 2007 CMEC hosts the Qatar Foundation at Parliament.
 Crispin Blunt hosted a delegation of 15 students from the Qatar Foundation at the Houses of Parliament. The Qatar Foundation is a multi-billion institution headed by Sheikha Mozah and is at the heart of the most exciting advances in education in the Middle East. The students, who came from schools and universities around Doha were visiting the UK to attend the Doha Debates which were held at the Cambridge Union the day before.Crispin Blunt gave them a tour of the Houses of Parliament followed by a questions and answers session. The Qatar Foundation for Education, Science and Community Development is a private, chartered, non-profit organization, founded in 1995 by His Highness Sheikh Hamad Bin Khalifa Al-Thani, Emir of Qatar. Its mission is to prepare the people of Qatar and the region to meet the challenges of an ever-changing world, and to make Qatar a leader in innovative education and research.
