When considering Iran’s nuclear geopolitics, we must also be mindful of its domestic political scene.

Dr. Amirahmadi is the founder and president of the American Iranian Council (AIC), a research and policy think-tank devoted to improving dialogue and understanding between the peoples of Iran and the United States. He was a candidate for President in the Iranian elections of June 2005, but was disqualified by the Guardian Council for his American citizenship and democratic platform.
