Raising awareness through debates and events     

CMEC hosts debates and other speaker events in Parliament and provides briefings to Conservative Parliamentarians on issues as they arise from events in the region. These events provide current and future Parliamentarians with the chance to deepen their understanding by meeting informally and listening to visiting academics and specialists from the UK, the US and the Middle East.

We seek to encourage Conservative Parliamentarians and their staff to learn about a wide range of subjects including the future of UK's relations with Iran and the Arab World, energy policy, trade opportunities in the Gulf and the Middle East peace process.

CMEC provides informed analysis offering a balanced perspective on a wide range of perspectives.
